Thank you for your interest in the 61st! Please look around on the forums and get a feel for the 61st. We are a casual clan of tankers who like to play tanks and enjoy the company of friends. We have a very wide range of people, age wise and geographically. We are looking for people with the same goals, and who will be a good fit.
We do not care about your stats. There is a process to join, and it isn't instant. Please create a profile on this site using your XBOX gamer tag. The send a e-mail to HQ61st@lycos.com. Include in that e-mail:
1.) Your XBOX gamer tag
2.) Tiers you like to play, including your highest
3.) Where you live (state and timezone)
4.) When you are normally on.
We use this information to help with assigning you to a Platoon, as we strongly believe you join a clan to play together with other people. We want to facilitate that by putting you into a platoon with people who play similar tiers and at similar times as you. Once you send the e-mail, you will receive a return e-mail with the names of the recruiting team you have been assigned to. Please add them to your friends list on XBOX, they will add you to theirs. When you are playing WOT look for them, they will be looking for you as well. Join a party with them and they will continue the process. If you don't see them on, feel free to join any party with the 61st clan. Introduce yourself and let them know your looking to finish the process and the names of the recruiting team. They will be more than happy to help you. We call this the vetting part of the process. We do not care about your stats. We are looking to see who you are, and if you are going to be a good fit. We are not interested in any drama, or 2yr old nonsense. We kid and joke around and you should expect to take as well as you give it out, or don't dish it out in the first place. You are also expected to understand not all people can handle that and knock it off when it isn't appreciated. Play some games and just be yourself. Good Luck
